Spark Change Challenge: Expression of Interest

Step 1 of 2

  • Complete this form to start your Spark Change journey...

  • Tell us about your idea to spark change in your community. Your proposed project should focus on improving the economic, environmental and/or social sustainability of a community. Participating projects will be evaluated in the spring of 2019. So, the sooner you start the better!

Once you have submitted this form, you will be signed up for the Spark Change Challenge and our team will be in touch with more information.

In the form below you will be asked to associate your proposed project with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that are relevant to your project. It is very important to note that while the SDGs are framed in a global context, we are interested in how you are addressing the issues mentioned in each SDG in your LOCAL community or in a number of local communities. For instance, while Goal 1 is "End poverty everywhere", we are interested in how a project may contribute to ending poverty in a particular community. This will enable us to track how your project is contributing to Ireland's commitment to achieving the SDGs. Review the 17 SDGs.

Spark Change is a project funded by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and a collaboration between The Wheel and Trinity College Dublin.

We are requesting your contact details and project information as a part of the Spark Change Challenge project.
Depending on which SDG your work focuses on, you may also be asked to answer questions of a sensitive nature. These questions relate directly to the indicators for the 17 SDGS. The purpose of collecting this information is to enable The Wheel and Trinity College Dublin to carry out research on the level of participation with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at community level in Ireland.

Due to the personal and sensitive nature of a small number of survey questions, you will be issued with a unique entry number. A record of your contact details and unique identification number will be stored separately from your survey responses and will be password protected. This will protect your identity and ensure the survey responses are anonymised.

We will only use your contact information for the purposes of communicating with you on relevant matters. We will not share your information with any third party except to the extent they are processing information on behalf of The Wheel and where we have an agreement in place with that third party processor.

If at any time you wish to remove your information from the Spark Change Challenge please contact us at [email protected] or on 01 4548727.
